The five start resort has announced the appointment of Tarek Mouriess as their new executive chef.
The Egyptian Chef brings more than 25 years of culinary experience to his new role, which involves working under several hospitality brands like Hilton and Rotana.
Mouriess is now responsible for leading the kitchen teams across all Danat Al Ain’s restaurants that include Arabesque, Tanjore and Luce.
Commenting on his appointment, Mouriess said: “My love for simple, natural ingredients can be seen clearly in my menus. No matter how far you travel, quality is an unparalleled element of a good meal. When a guest visits any of Danat Al Ain’s restaurants it is not only to eat but for a complete dining experience.
“Food should taste natural and I look forward to maintaining this excellency across all our restaurants within the resort.”
Born in Egypt, Mouriess found his passion for cooking through his grandmother who introduced him to the importance of garden-fresh, homely ingredients. He followed this passion having enrolled into Helwan University in Cairo, specialising in hospitality and catering.
