The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), the principal authority for the planning, supervision, development and marketing of tourism in Dubai, has revealed plans for the third annual Dubai Food Festival.
The 17 day food extravaganza, which will begin on 25 February and run until 12 March 12, 2016, will run under the theme of ‘A Taste Celebration’.
The festival showcases hotel and standalone F&B outlets from across the emirate in a series of activities and events. The high light of this year’s festival will be the launch of Dubai Restaurant Week. Although Jumeirah has held it own annual restaurant week for several years, this will be the first citywide project open to all F&B brands.
The event will focus on ‘Hidden Gems’, a new experience involving a tour of Dubai’s undiscovered dining spots, alongside the return of Beach Canteen pop-up in Jumeirah, following its successful introduction last year.
