According to a report by Allied Market Research, the global popcorn market is projected to reach $15billion by 2023, registering a CAGR of 7.6% from 2017 to 2023.
Joe & Seph’s has entered the regional market to compete with big FMCG brands with their range of handmade popcorn. Founded in London, UK, the company takes its name from its founder, Joseph Sopher, who launched the family business with his wife Jackie and their eldest son, Adam.
After years of creating his innovative style of popcorn for friends and relatives, he decided to launch Joe & Seph’s to the British public, in Selfridges, London.
Joe & Seph’s products are now available in over 20 countries across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and North America. In the UAE, they can be found in Spinneys, and Waitrose and are stocked by Warner Brother World Theme Park, Emirates Airlines, Burj Al Arab Hotel, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and many more.
With over 40 flavours such as salted caramel, goat cheese & black Pepper, peanut butter and mature cheddar cheese, Joe & Seph’s popcorn which are handmade in London using all-natural ingredients are making their way to the UAE.
Joseph Sopher uses a flavour-sequencing process to locks in flavours in the popcorn. Every kernel is air-popped, which is a healthier cooking method than frying and results in better texture and taste, before being coated in caramel, infused with natural ingredients.
