The Mahal Turkish restaurant, recently opened in Dragon Mart 2, Dubai.
The venue marks a new chapter for the owner, Bora Meral, who already launched the concept in Turkey and the USA.
Meral said: “The concept of Mahal brings a vibrant and contemporary restaurant with traditional Turkish roots to the Dubai dining scene.
“Our vision is pretty clear; we want to cater for everyone by offering genuine Turkish cuisine of the highest quality with outstandingly good value.”
The interior design of the restaurant illustrates traditional Turkish architecture in a contemporary style.
Guests entering the restaurant will be greeted with a display counter featuring a variety of classic Turkish dishes.
The menu includes kofta with cheese, meatballs with a core of melting cheddar; Iskender Doner, one of the famous meat dishes of north western Turkey, and an array of lamb dishes.
Another culinary highlight from the menu is the metre-long pide, a traditional pastry from the central Anatolia region of the country, which is available with minced meat, cheese, spinach and more.
