Iranian restaurant, Bahar opens its doors on 21 March at La Verda Suites & Villas, Dubai Marina.

Siddharth Mehra, general manager of La Verda, Dubai Marina Suites & Villas, said: “Iranian cuisine is extremely popular in the UAE, and Bahar has been developed to offer an experience like never before with classic Persian flavours infused with urban culinary nuances. Moving away from serving King-size portions in large settings, we will provide diners a healthy mix of traditional and modern style of Iranian cooking.”
At the helm of the kitchen is chef Ibrahim Narozi who has more than three decades of experience in the Middle East and previously worked at Shabestan Iranian restaurant at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek.
The menu at Bahar offers Iranian salads, grills and stews (khoreshes) with ingredients such as lime juice, dill, parsley, mint, saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, and sumac.
Desserts feature rose water, pistachios and walnuts, while traditional Iranian beverage, sharbat, diluted fruit, honey and herb syrups, will be on offer.
The opening of Bahar will coincide with Persian New Year, which falls between 20 – 27 March.
As part of the festivities, diners can enjoy a special discount of 35% from 7pm – midnight on all menu items during this period. This offer can be availed for dinner served from 7pm until midnight.
