For just one month from 17 November until 17 December, Qbara Restaurant, Lounge and Bar will be serving the legendary white truffles in a bespoke menu reflecting its celebrated Arabesque fusion menu.
White truffles are worth their weight in gold primarily for their gastronomically unique flavour and aroma but also because of their rarity – fleetingly available in the Alba, Piedmont region of Italy just once a year.
To honour the short season of this culinary treasure, Qbara has crafted both a Truffle Menu Degustation as well as an a la carte menu which includes both white and black truffles.
The three-course degustation menu will include starters such as seared scallop, fennel tzatziki and white truffle or perhaps an aromatic beef tartare with quail egg, labneh and white truffle. Moving on to the main course, there is truffle and hazelnut baked seabass with tarator and white truffle or a wild mushroom freekah risotto with black truffle, and desserts include a red velvet truffle or truffle espuma, coffee jelly and meringue with salted coffee truffle ice cream.
