Kaesta Mcfee, who previously held the role of executive chef of Centro Capital Centre has been promoted to cluster executive chef of Capital Centre Arjaan and Centro Capital Centre.
A Canadian national, chef Mcfee brings more than 20 years’ experience in international cuisines having worked with hotel operators in Singapore and Canada prior to relocating to UAE.
Having been with Centro for more than two years, Kaesta is well versed in brand standards and has made a significant contribution to overseeing kitchen operations.
As cluster executive chef, he will lead a team of 36 culinarians and 15 stewards, who will assist him with day-to-day operations of the hotel’s portfolio, which comprises two all-day dining restaurants, Tamarind and c.taste, in addition to takeaway deli concept, c.deli, Aroma lobby lounge and c.mondo bar.
Chef Mcfee’s team will also oversee dining for five meeting rooms at Centro and six at Arjaan, including outside catering requirements in the city, such as gala dinners.
