Guests are welcome to indulge in an Authentic Italian Affair this Holy Month.
Based on a sharing concept, each menu starts with complementary small plates, dates, freshly baked bread, olives and a tomato concassé. A selection of signature antipasti follows, featuring the burrata con datterini, calamari fritti, melon and beef prosciutto, or the carpaccio, a thinly sliced raw beef with mustard and ruccola or truffle.
For the soup, guests can pick between the scalini signature fish soup, guazzeto di pesce or the zuppa di lenticchie, the lentil soup, as well as a course of fresh salads.
Renowned for their fresh pasta, Scalini will offer a course dedicated to the dish, serving pappardelle al ragout di vitello con tartufo nero which is homemade ribbons of pasta with veal ragu & truffle, melanzane alla parmigiana, oven baked aubergine with tomato, mozzarella and basil and the penette all’arabbiata.
Following this, guests will be served a selection of main courses, including grilled fillets of Mediterranean seasbass, pollo al curry and mediterranean prawns with chili and garlic.
Ending the evening on a sweet note, Scalini will serve an assortment of desserts including the Scalini signature tiramisu, a salad of fresh fruits and flan di fromaggio, the cheesecake.
The Ramadan menu is available from sunset to 8.30pm each day throughout the month.
