Lebanese Shawarma chain, Shawarmanji, is rapidly expanding in the GCC with a recent entry into Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Founded in 2012, Shawarmanji currently operates 15 outlets in the Middle East region with four in Lebanon, seven in UAE, two in Kuwait, one in Qatar, and one in KSA.
The objective of the company is to open another 10 outlets in 2017.
Shawarmanji CEO, Camille E. Aoun said: “We recently opened our first outlet in the state of Qatar and the second in Kuwait as well as the flagship outlet in Jeddah, KSA as of late January, 2017.
“It is the dynamism of the GCC market that inspires our expansion and growth strategy of the Shawarmanji business scope and brand.”
Among the popular products on the menu are the BeefManji pomegranate, ChickenManji BBQ Caramelised Onion sandwiches, Ricemanji platters, and the low carb ShakerManji.
Camille E. Aoun added: “Shawarmanji® holds the distinction of being the first Shawarma franchise to operate at International Airports, with two outlets at Dubai Airport and one at Abu Dhabi Airport.”
The Shawarma chain also offers dessert options such as Chocolate Halawa and ChocoManji with Oreo.
