Six Senses Zighy Bay has hired sous chef Patricia Yeo to oversee the F&B offer at the luxury Omani retreat.
Known for blending exotic Asian, Mediterranean and South-Western ingredients, she has featured on the US Master Chef series and has authored two cookbooks.
Yeo commented: “Six Senses Zighy Bay is a truly exciting property for me personally. It is my first experience living in the Middle East and my first foray into the world of resorts and hotels.
“I am so fortunate to be working with great talent and am looking forward to learning and absorbing their wealth of information while at the same time sharing many of my experiences. It is a great synergy.”
During a two-decade period in the US, Yeo worked as culinary operations director for Samuelsson Group in New York and carried out consulting work for Monkey Bar in New York as well as restaurants in Boston and Florida.
In her new role, Yeo will develop the menu offering at the resort’s fine dining restaurant, Sense on the Edge, and will launch a new concept.
