Since its opening in February 2019, Galaxy Bar has had an eventful journey of growth, innovation, and recognition. In just one year, they were ranked at number 67 in World’s 50 Best Bars and voted Campari’s ‘One to Watch’, making their mark on the radar of the World’s cocktail cognoscenti. Ranking at number 45 in World’s 50 Best Bars in 2021, the Galaxy Bar team established their reputation in the industry by crafting ingenious signature cocktails during International guest shifts in renowned bar destinations in Paris, Rome, Milan, as well as Bangkok for World’s 50 Best Asia ceremony. The award-winning venue has proudly represented the Middle East in the global bar scene whilst also bringing in new talent and unique experiences to the UAE.

Galaxy Bar takes pride in creating multi-sensory experiences for their customers, and has hosted several state-of-the-art events in the past year. ‘Into the Future’ in February, commemorated their third birthday with a hologram and cosmic light effects adorning the space, creating an unforgettable evening. Following so, the lounge celebrated World Paloma Day with no less than Athens’ institution and Paloma authority, Barro Negro. The night was a poetic tribute to the meaning of the word Paloma (Spanish for ‘Dove’), the space was transformed with 500 origami doves hung from its celestial ceiling. While it is an honour to be ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars, Galaxy Bar is also committed to empowering and nurturing local talents. On World Asteroid Day, the lounge space hosted the rising stars of the Dubai cocktail community for a unique showcase of talent alongside Galaxy Bar’s very own world-class bartenders Stefano Gambardella and Coralie Doillet. Marking the occasion, the iconic starry ceiling was graced by ‘Shooting Stars’, as regulars and first-timers alike sipped their way through a memorable evening.
