Emirates Bio Farm, the UAE’s largest organic farm, invites residents and visitors to enjoy a unique iftar experience this Ramadan. The farm is offering iftar packages that provide guests with a chance to break their fast in a fully functioning greenhouse, just steps away from where the vegetables are grown.
The menu features a fusion of traditional Ramadan dishes with a farmer’s twist, including pumpkin kibbeh and beetroot muttabal, as well as a locally sourced Bedouin-style lamb dish that is slow-cooked for over five hours in an earthen oven. Before breaking the fast, guests are also invited to experience the farm through a one-hour tractor ride and tour that takes them through the fields and greenhouses to learn about organic farming and pick their own vegetables.
“We are excited to offer a unique iftar experience to our guests, combining traditional Ramadan dishes with our own locally sourced produce and organic farming techniques,” said Yazen Al Kodmani, Chief GM of Emirates Bio Farm. “We hope to provide an unforgettable Ramadan experience for families, corporate groups, and individuals alike.”
For public bookings, Emirates Bio Farm is open for iftar meals every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Additionally, the farm offers iftar packages during weekdays exclusively for corporates and private groups. The packages include a locally sourced, mostly vegetarian buffet that uses the farm’s own produce and odd-shaped vegetables to create delicious iftar meals, while also being inclusive of a farm tour, tractor ride, harvesting activity, and a walk in the greenhouses. Families can also enjoy the play area and feed the goats.
Emirates Bio Farm’s Ramadan packages are priced at AED 180 per person, with AED 80 for children below 12 years old, and free for children below three. (All prices mentioned are excluding VAT).
