Enigma, Palazzo Versace Dubai’s signature Persian restaurant prepares to revisit centuries-old Iranian traditions and celebrate Yalda, the longest night of the year, on Wednesday, December 21st from 7pm to 11pm.
Shab-e Yalda, or Yalda night, is an ancient Persian winter solstice festival that is celebrated on the longest night of the year and symbolizes the triumph of the light over dark.
Join Palazzo Versace Dubai in honouring Iranian traditions and celebrate with a limited-edition set menu at Enigma, especially curated for the occasion. The sharing-style menu features an array of delicacies, including Zeytoon Parwardeh (marinated green olives with walnuts and pomegranate), Kashke Bademjun (charcoal grilled eggplants with Kashk, fried mint, and roasted onions) or Kuku Sabzi Palazzo (Persian herbs frittata with barberries, candied walnuts, and yogurt).
For the main course, diners can choose from a selection of mouth-watering kebabs, ending the night with traditional Iranian desserts, which will include a live Faludeh station and pistachio mousse with pomegranate.
Sparing no attention to detail, Enigma will be decorated for the winter solstice celebrations with arrangements traditionally used during Yalda, including summer fruits like pomegranate, watermelons, persimmons, and books by the renowned Iranian poet Hafez. To enhance the traditional festive atmosphere at Enigma, guests can enjoy their meal complemented with live music, making Enigma the ideal venue to celebrate this ancient festival.
