Hilton Dubai Creek’s Table 9 has appointed Enver Can Gümüs as head chef and Estelle Marcilly as restaurant manager to implement a new strategic direction for the restaurant in 2017.
Marcilly, the new restaurant manager, previously worked at InterContinental Thalasso Resort in Bora Bora, where she managed the resort’s boutique gastronomic restaurant.
Her main responsibilities were overseeing the daily operation of the restaurant and kitchen staff, ensuring a high standard of service, and training the team.
In her new position at Table 9, Marcilly’s key focus will be overseeing the operations and creating strategies for the new direction for the restaurant, which will be revealed later this year.
Marcilly commented: “I am very excited to be joining Hilton Group, given its status in the global market and successes in the region.
“I look forward to implementing the new direction at Table 9 and establishing the venue as one of the leading destinations for culinary experience in Dubai.”
Prior to coming on board as head chef of Table 9, Enver Can Gümüs was the chef de partie at a luxury hotel and spa in Cyprus.
His previous culinary roles include positions in a fine dining oriental restaurant in Turkey, The Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan China and Ciragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul.
With more than six years’ culinary experience, chef Gümüs will oversee all gastronomic aspects of Table 9.
He commented: “I am genuinely thrilled to be taking the lead at the iconic Table 9. It is a restaurant that has always been led by the head chef and I am excited about the challenges that lie ahead.
“I look forward to applying my expertise and unique cultural background to deliver fresh and simple food of the highest quality.”
