This Ramadan, Jamavar Dubai presents its very first Iftar Menu. Revered as a time of spiritual reflection, unity, and generosity, Jamavar Dubai embraces the Holy Month and invites guests to embark on the cherished ritual of Iftar and experience a gastronomic journey that beautifully blends the rich heritage of Indian cuisine with the spirit of togetherness and reflection that embodies Ramadan. The restaurant’s regal ambiance, paired with its exquisite culinary creations, makes it the perfect setting to gather with friends, family, and loved ones during this special time.
Available daily from sunset to 8:00 PM, the exclusive Iftar menu has been thoughtfully crafted by Culinary Director Surender Mohan. The experience begins with the cherished tradition of breaking the fast, featuring a selection of dry fruits and dates elegantly presented on a gold charlie. Guests are then treated to an assortment of delicate steamed and fried bites, such as Khaman Dhokla – a fragrant gram flour cake seasoned with mustard seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves – alongside Aloo Mutter Samosas, Mirchi Pakoras, and Arbi Tuks. Complementing these flavours is a refreshing Rose Sharbat, a delightful blend of Roohafza, pineapple, almond soda, and basil seeds, setting the perfect tone for a memorable Iftar.
Diners can then delight in an indulgent Kebab Platter, featuring a choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian grills and tandoors. Highlights include succulent Tandoori Prawns – jumbo prawns marinated with ajwain, chili-spiced yogurt, and garam masala, as well as tender Lamb Seekh Kabab infused with Kashmiri chili and served with mint chutney and a mixed sprouts salad. Nourishing vegetarian options include Ajwaini Paneer Tikka, crafted with homemade cottage cheese and raw papaya salad, and Palak Tikki, prepared with spinach leaves and pine nuts enveloped in cream cheese.
Mains feature a choice between tempting Biryanis including a flavourful Hyderbadi Keema Biryani featuring diced goat meat, basmati rice, crispy onions, crowned with fresh mint, as well as a Hyderabadi Vegetable Biryani – a wholesome medley of seasonal vegetables and aromatic basmati rice, all served with signature accompaniments of Dal Jamavar, Kurkuri Bhindi, Cucumber Raita, and a freshly baked Bread Basket.
To conclude the Iftar Menu, diners can indulge in a choice of traditional desserts that offer a sweet finale to the opulent feast. Options include a decadent Gulab Jamun – soft cottage cheese dumplings steeped in a rose-scented syrup, and Sheer Khurma – made with delicate thin vermicelli, sweetened milk, dry fruits, and golden aromatic saffron.
Nestled within the heart of Downtown Dubai at The Address Residences Opera District, Jamavar Dubai’s Iftar Menu beautifully reflects the richness of India’s culinary traditions, whilst thoughtfully embracing the essence of Ramadan, ensuring an unforgettable experience of indulgence, culture, and connection.
