During the Holy Month of Ramadan, a time defined by reflection, generosity, and togetherness, Jamavar Dubai presents an Iftar experience designed to be shared at sunset. Rooted in India’s culinary traditions and guided by the spirit of the season, the menu brings together comforting flavours, balanced dishes, and a sense of calm, suited to evenings of connection and gathering.
Available daily from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Iftar begins with The Golden Iftar Trio, a three-tier golden charlie. The first tier features a traditional selection of dry fruits, dates, and fruit chaat, accompanied by a cooling Rose Sharbat made with Rooh Afza, pineapple, almond soda, and basil seeds. While the second and third tiers have a selection of steamed and fried bites, including Khaman Dhokla served with mint chutney, alongside crisp favourites such as Aloo Mutter Samosa, Arbi Tuk, and Jodhpuri Mirchi Vada, offering gentle warmth and familiar flavours to break the fast.
The starters are followed by an optional selection of Kebab Sampler. The non-vegetarian trio features Tandoori Malai Prawns, Kesari Chicken Tikka, and Lamb Seekh Gilafi, while the vegetarian offering includes Makhmali Paneer Tikka, Palak Akrot Tikki, and Kasundi Gobi, each prepared with restraint and balance, in keeping with the spirit of the Holy Month.
For the main course, the menu presents a choice of slow-cooked classics and fragrant rice dishes, including Maplah Lamb Biryani, prepared with kaima rice, fennel, nuts, and house-made garam masala, and a comforting Mughlai Chicken Korma, enriched with cardamom, cloves, and cashew. Vegetarian options include Kofta Dilkhush, featuring kale and root vegetable dumplings with saffron and caramelised onions, and a vibrant Hyderabadi Vegetable Biryani. All mains are served with Dal Jamavar, cucumber raita, and an assorted bread basket.
The experience concludes with traditional desserts served in the spirit of celebration and generosity, including Gulab Jamun, soft cottage cheese dumplings soaked in rose-fragranced syrup, and a traditional Sheer Khurma, delicately scented with saffron and dry fruits
Set within Jamavar’s graceful surroundings in Downtown Dubai, the Ramadan Iftar offers a warm and elegant space to pause, reflect, and share meaningful moments throughout the Holy Month.
