Infini Concepts, the agency that brought to life Cé La Vi and Miss Tess, has recently launched the high-end, modern Japanese restaurant, TABŪ. Nōh Drama Brunch – an experiential afternoon featuring roaming performers and impressive live entertainment, an invigorating menu of the finest Japanese cuisine, and free-flowing beverages of choice. The brunch launched officially on June 18 and is on every Saturday from 12:30pm until 4pm.
Each brunch package at Nōh Drama is inclusive of sharing-style meal, masterfully prepared by the talented culinary team headed by Executive Chef, Roberto Segura. Brunch packages include non-alcoholic beverages for AED390, house beverages for AED490, and champagne for AED690. Residing on the 23rd floor at The St. Regis Downtown, TABŪ not only provides a unique gastronomical journey laced with theatrical performances, but also stunning views of the city’s skyline and the Burj Khalifa from their spacious terrace.
Guests will be served sharing cold starters, such as a specially curated nigiri platter, spicy tuna tartare maki, and asparagus tempura maki, and hot starters, such as black cod croquette, chicken kasena, and portobello anticucho, to begin with. Guests can choose a main dish to feast on, from a menu of tastefully prepared dishes featuring spicy miso baby chicken, sea bass miso panca, and ishiyaki mushroom. The feast ends sweet with a chef’s selection of desserts.
While guests indulge in the skilfully plated dishes and beverages, enigmatic performers – such as a large Sumo wrestler or a beautiful geisha – will roam the space enacting a story in intervals, adding a hint of mystery and wonder to the afternoon. To add to the atmosphere, brunch guests will also be audience to a live percussionist, who will inject a burst of energy to the event with rhythmic solos.
After the first ever brunch kicks off at TABŪ, guests in the know can head upstairs to the 24th floor, to the official launch of secret bar, lounge and club, The Other Side. Inspired by the underground bars that inhabit the streets of Tokyo, the reservation-only venue is the city’s newest addition to the nightlife scene. On opening night, invitees and visitors will be treated to music from the globally experienced DJ Mike Andrea for one night only. The renowned deck master, whose reach has spanned St. Tropez to Egypt, will make The Other Side his musical playground for the night. Guests can dance the night away starting 11pm till 4am, while sipping on craft cocktails masterfully blended by expert mixologists or enjoy VIP bottle service straight to their tables.
