The Lighthouse has launched a new online bakery and a trio of compelling dining promotions – afternoon tea, a Saturday and Sunday brunch, as well as a summer lunch – across its four restaurants in the UAE.
The new online bakery available through Deliveroo in Dubai and Abu Dhabi builds on the popularity of the recently opened The Lighthouse Pastry & Dessert concession at Time Out Market Dubai. With over 40 items spanning bread, pastries, desserts and sandwiches, signatures include the goat cheese filo pie, sourdough Campaillou loaf, and the passion fruit yuzu cheesecake. This menu is also available for dine-in at all restaurants.
The afternoon tea is on offer exclusively at The Lighthouse Mall of the Emirates daily from 4 to 7pm. Priced at AED145 per person (for a minimum of two guests), the tiered tower boasts a staggering 15 sweet and savoury dishes including plain and cranberry scones with clotted cream, homemade jam and dulce de leche; banoffee pie and tiramisu tartlets; yuzu lobster rolls and Coronation chicken sandwiches – served alongside a selection of artisan teas and specialty coffee.
The weekend brunch, quite unusually for the UAE, runs on both a Saturday and Sunday at The Lighthouse’s two licensed locations – Yas Bay Waterfront in Abu Dhabi launching this weekend, and d3 in Dubai from 25th June. From 12 to 4pm, a set menu of seven starters, eight main courses and four desserts, all served sharing style in keeping with the Mediterranean meze-inspired concept will be served at the table including brand-new dishes of crisp halloumi with homemade tomato jam, yuzu lobster po’boy and cacio e pepe with onsen egg. All paired with a live DJ. Three packages with free-flow beverages are available – soft drinks for AED275; house beverages for AED375; and Tribaut Champagne for AED525.
The summer lunch special at Nakheel Mall, Palm Jumeirah and Yas Bay Waterfront Abu Dhabi allows diners to choose a two-course set menu for AED120, or three courses, dessert included for AED140 on weekdays from 12 to 4pm – currently running until the end of August.
