The popular venue, famed for their seamlessly blended beverages and delicious pu pu platters, is finally launching a long-awaited lively Saturday brunch at their outpost in Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah on January 14th. Complete with vast varieties of food for every appetite and palate, and free-flowing beverages of choice, plus a live band charging the energy of the venue, the Puka Puka Brunch is not to be missed, every Saturday from 1pm till 4pm.
The longstanding brand that has welcomed people from all walks of life since their opening in Dubai, provides a laid back yet social atmosphere to unwind and enjoy the best Polynesian cuisine the city has to offer. Not to mention, the most potent line up of cocktails and mocktails one can find in Dubai, including the Original Mai Tai®, invented by founder Victor Bergeron in 1944, and the signature drink made just for the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah location – the Golden Puka!
Children will be welcomed at the new weekend event, and packages start from AED150 for children, AED350 for soft beverages, AED499 for house pouring, and AED599 for their bubbly package. Each package includes unlimited food and drink per person, so the Puka Puka Brunch is sure to transport guests to their dream Tahitian holiday.
On the menu, guests will be pleased to find a large variety of delicious island bites, so no craving will go unsatisfied. Their signature Tidbits and Pupus include; Jalapeño Cheese Balls, Crab Rangoon, and Duck Gyoza. A Ceviche Corner is also available for those desiring light summer flavours, including Cured Salmon and Yellow Fin Tuna. Salads feature Seafood Salad with Chili Tamarind Dressing, Spicy Roasted Duck Salad, and Tossed Young Papaya Salad with Grilled Shredded Beef. There are an array of appetizers and starters available to ravish, such as Jackfruit Potstickers with Sweet Chili Dip, Steamed Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, Chicken Sliders, and Crispy Kerabu Mango Spring Rolls, along with a variety of maki rolls for the sushi-lovers over at the Japanese Corner. The meat-focused stations will feature tender Oven Roasted Duck and Braised Chicken in Honey-Soy Spices. As Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah’s Trader Vic’s is the first location with a pork license in the UAE, this brunch will also be home to a Pork Corner where guests will find Oven Baked BBQ Glazed Pork Spare Ribs, and Lechon Belly Roulade with Chili Mansi Dip.
The live station at the new brunch is the definition of fresh, with Chicken, Beef and Lamb Kebabs being cooked by order and served instantly. Distinguishing the Puka Puka Brunch from the rest is their Cast Iron Pot section, which will serve Sauté Tender Beef with Vegetables, Pan-Seared Seabass with Mongolian Sauce, Northern Style Sweet & Sour Chicken, Stir-Fried Sate Spices Noodles with Seasonal Vegetables, and Trader Vic’s Fried Rice.
The food journey ends on a sweet note with desserts such as Chilled Honeydew Cream with Sago, Truffle Chocolate with Crushed Pistachio, Matcha Panna Cotta with Lychee Compote, and Crispy Banana Fritters. A popsicle cart will also make its rounds, so the whole family can choose their flavour without having to share – a win in our books!
Live entertainment will take the stage, ensuring every guest is up and on their feet by the end, dancing and grooving away to island tunes.
