Sofitel Dubai The Palm has partnered with wine connoisseurs The Tasting Class, to host two very special wine dinners this March. The partnership is in celebration of Sofitel Dubai The Palm’s first-ever EPICURE Culinary Month (28th February – 3rd March 2023), a month-long celebration showcasing the hotel’s incredible chefs and culinary experts.
On Wednesday 8th March, enjoy a beachside Mediterranean wine dinner at boho-chic venue, Laguna Beach Taverna & Lounge (Dhs350pp). Founder of The Tasting Class, Lindsay Trivers, will present perfect pairings of Mediterranean cuisine and wine, sharing what’s unique about the wines and the inspiration behind each dish. The evening includes a four-course specially curated menu perfectly paired with four glasses of wine. Highlight dishes include a Trio of lobster, salmon, sea bass carpaccio, and Grilled swordfish (fennel foam, braised kale, beurre blanc sauce).
A meat and wine pairing dinner will be held at Porterhouse Steaks & Grills (Dhs350pp) on Sunday 15th March. Carnivores can look forward to sampling an impeccable range of red meat dishes, paired flawlessly with a range of fine wines. The evening hosted by Lindsay Trivers, will include a four-course menu paired with four glasses of wine. Highlight dishes include Smoked Brisket Tortellini (mashed butternut squash, grilled kale, port wine reduction, forest mushroom foam, herbal oil) and USDA Striploin (braised leek, charcoal purée, potato pave, veal jus).
