Carlton Hotels & Suites has announced plans for expansion across the Middle East region.
As part of the growth plan, Carlton Hotels & Suites is expected to launch a newly acquired property, in the last quarter of 2019. Planned to be an all-suites hotel, the property will be located in Dubai Creek.
Carlton Hotels and Suites also owns Villa Rotana, Marriott Executive Apartments, and Four Points Sheraton Deira and are currently planning to acquire properties in Germany and Spain.
Speaking on the announcement and the UAE’s hospitality industry, Hosni Abdelhadi, chief executive officer, Carlton Hotels and Suites said: “Participating at ATM, makes us feel the pulse of the ever-growing hospitality industry and the evolution and enhancements taking place in the industry.

The new property will reflect an intricate fusion between Middle Eastern hospitality and modern-day comforts for which the Carlton brand is renowned for.”
Dubai’s dynamic hospitality sector is gearing up to host more than 20 million visitors during World Expo 2020. At present, there are over 29,000 hotel rooms in development across 95 hotels in Dubai with hotel room supply in Dubai set to reach 132,000 hotel rooms by 2019.
Setting itself to be at par with Dubai’s Tourism Vision 2020, Carlton Hotels & Suites plans to acquire additional two or more hotels within the city itself and hopes to have a total of 1600 rooms to accommodate visitors visiting the city.
