Chef Tim Newton, group head chef, Global Hospitality Asset Management (GHAM) and Bagatelle Dubai will guest star at Bloomie’s Kitchen on Wednesday 27 April from 11am- 1pm, hosted by resident chef Tomas Reger.
Located at Bloomingdale’s Home Store on the Lower Ground Floor of Dubai Mall, Bloomie’s Kitchen invites Chef Newton to demonstrate French Mediterranean cuisine.
He will prepare a selection of gourmet dishes with a twist, including Crudo de Bar, slices of sea bass served with blood orange and jalapeños, followed by Poulet Roti aux Truffles with wild mushrooms and foie gras.
Chef Newton first came to Dubai in 2009 to open Le Petite Maison as executive sous chef.
Three years later he joined GHAM and attributes his cooking style to the teachings of restaurateurs, Chris Corbin and Jeremy King.
In his role overseeing the Bagatelle kitchen, chef Newton’s dishes include truffle pizza and whole roasted truffle chicken with fois gras.
French brand Bistrot Bagatelle, which specialises in French Mediterranean cuisine, opened its doors in Dubai in October 2015 at Fairmont Dubai.
First established in New York City in 2008, Bistrot Bagatelle has locations in Los Angeles, Miami, San Paulo, St. Barths and St Tropez.
