Bla Bla Beach Club will launch its first phase of opening this Thursday. Opening in two phases this month, phase one includes ten of the 20 bars, the beach club and three restaurants, with a further ten bars launching very soon.
Each distinct concept has been created to cater to a full spectrum of preferences and pockets, from barefoot beverages on the beach, to bubbles and cocktails overlooking the glistening waters.
Located at The Beach, opposite JBR, the almost 100,000 sqft all-day venue is the first independent property in the area licensed for alcohol, shisha and live music.
Set along the terrace of the venue, phase one includes opening of three themed bars that overlook the Gulf Sea and Dubai Eye. Hidden in a back room are three further bars, The Japanese Bar with a light-up floor, The Hollywood Bar with a celebrity style feel and The Maximalist Bar – the opposite of minimalist with out-of-the-box drinks.
The Beach Bar will also open this week. The pool bar is also opening in phase one of the project. Each of the bars have a unique cocktail that symbolises the style of each, as well as house beverages priced from AED 45.
Overseeing the offering is executive chef Mohammad Islam, who developed his career in the kitchens of numerous prestigious restaurants including The Dining Room at The Ritz Carlton in Chicago, where he worked closely with Sarah Stegner, helping her win the 1998 James Beard Best Chef award. The restaurants at Bla Bla are Onda and Nami (which mean ‘wave’ in Italian and Japanese respectively) as well as a Texas style BBQ Smokehouse.
The remaining bars will open in phase two in the upcoming week and are housed in a colossal 22,000 sqft complex, with double height ceilings and a total of ten bars all with different themes and styles.
Upcoming themes and events to be announced soon include a day-to-night ladies’ day, a Friday Brunch and daily happy hour.
