Chef Andy Arndt from Marriott Newport Beach Hotel, California will visit New York Steakhouse in Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel from 15 – 22 February.
During his time in Qatar, Chef Andy will act as guest head chef, and will host two events.
On 17 February from 7.30pm, he will create a four course set menu paired with grapes, showcasing Californian cuisine, with menu items including scallop carpaccio, cucumber, avocado and finger lime; and roast New York strip, gremolata crusted marrow and sunchoke puree.
On 20 February he will perform live cooking demonstrations followed by a Californian lunch, with the main course to be crab cake and pickled and raw garden vegetables.
The event is being organised in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy of the United States in Qatar and Orange County, California as part of Qatar’s annual Discover America Week.
New York Steakhouse is open every evening from 6.30pm – 11.30pm.
