HORECA Trade, a Bidfood ME company, announced today it will be funding the upcoming Umrah trip for two students of the Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired.
The Association provides visually impaired individuals with all necessary tools and amenities to become productive members of society. Students attend workshops on technology and the Braille System and participate in physical and educational activities to hone their daily life skills. The organization also conducts research to better serve visually impaired individuals in the UAE.
“Our partnership with the Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired reinforces our devotion to our community. At HORECA Trade, we are committed to giving back and are ceaselessly looking for ways to assist the people around us,” Bidfood ME CEO, Hisham Al Jamil, said. “We are honored to be able to play a part in creating unforgettable memories for the students.”
HORECA Trade will cover the students’ and their guardians’ travel and accommodation expenses for the entire duration of the trip.
“We are grateful to HORECA Trade and Mr. Al Jamil for helping us share great experiences with our students and are looking forward to partnering with them again in the future as we continue to work towards improving the lives of the visually impaired in the UAE,” Chairman of the Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired, Adel Al Zamar, said.
