Hotel News ME has launched the Hotel Industry Insights Survey to gauge the sentiments of the region’s top hotel management, from GM level and upwards.
The survey is designed to gauge observations of the industry over the last 12 months, from April 1 2015 to April 1 2016. The anonymous questionnaire is designed to be completed within 15 minutes and covers performance, staffing, tourism strategies and economic factors, as well as trend predictions for the end of 2016.
The study closes on 11 May, 2016.
Melanie Mingas, group editor, BNC Publishing, said: “With so many external factors affecting the industry at this time this survey has been devised to find out how hoteliers are coping in their new business environment and where their pain points lie. Recent months have seen currencies weakened and oil prices crash, supply is on an upward trajectory and new source markets are being brought into the regional mix; it’s important to understand the bottom line impact of these events.”
The results of the survey will be presented at the GM Leaders Conference, taking place 16 May at St. Regis Dubai.
