With a brand-new head chef joining the team, Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s Villa Beach has revealed a revamped a la carte menu and weekend brunch.
Chef Gian Marco Francesconi, who worked in a number of renowned dining establishments including Tuscany’s Michelin-starred Ristorante Ninan, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, serving up Tuscan-inspired dishes at Jumeiah Beach Hotel’s signature Italian restaurant.
Along with a new menu comes a new brunch; translating to ‘sweet nothing’, Dolce Far Niente will welcome guests every Friday from 3pm-6pm.
Dishes include a selection of fresh antipasti and insalate including mushroom aranchini with truffle and sesame aioli, charcoal-grilled octopus served alongside olive tapenade and potato purée, and creamy burrata with peppery wild rocket and pomegranate.
Plus, an array of Italian favourites such as homemade pasta dishes, veal Milanese with a cherry tomato salad and locally sourced seabass with fennel, capers and Kalamata olives to be enjoyed with free-flowing beverages.
For a sweet finale, dishes include a classic velvety tiramisu or vanilla panna cotta finished with a white chocolate crumble.
