This Ramadan, the smallest chef in the world, “Le Petit Chef”, has flown all the way from France to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan in Dubai.
Brought to guests by the producers of the Banquet of Hoshena and in collaboration with Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, the high-tech 3D projection-mapping experience will take guests on a culinary journey, while following the footsteps of the great traveller Marco Polo.
The immersive “Le Petit Chef” suhoor dining experience will take place once a day in Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates throughout the month of Ramadan. In order to secure the safety and the wellbeing of guests, tables will be well spread out, and only 48 seats are available per night, ensuring an exclusive and intimate dining experience.
The 58 mm “Le Petit Chef” has teamed up with the executive chef of Kempinski, Sudqi Naddaf, to create a nutritious six-course suhoor menu inspired by “Le Petit Chef’s” travels. The menu offers diners a sample of the cuisines along the Silk Route as “Le Petit Chef” tells his story of when he set sail from France, stopping in Arabia, flying off to India and crossing the Himalayas and on to China.
Diners will start with a carefully crafted Amuse-Bouche, followed by starters featuring Hummus, Majroucheh with breadcrumbs, chilli paste, fresh vegetables, oriental spices and olive oil, and Smoked Aubergine Baba Ganoush, just to mention a few.
Afterwards, they are invited to choose an Entrée, from Spiced Chicken Tikka or Paneer Tikka Skewer, then refresh their palate with a sorbet made with Yuzu and Popping Boba, and to satisfy tastebuds with a Main Course, choosing either “Fragrance of Asia” Chinese Beef and Aubergine Hotpot, or Mixed Asian Vegetable Hotpot. Both Main Courses are served with Steamed Jasmine Rice.
To end the dining experience on a sweet note, “Le Petit Chef” prepares a special Fragrant Saffron and Cardamon Rice Pudding Brûlée using ingredients gathered along his journey.
