Following the property’s large-scale renovation, the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority has re-listed Le Méridien Abu Dhabi as a 5-star property.
Abu Dhabi National Hotels, which owns the property, has completed a comprehensive renovation, which included a transformation of all 248 guestrooms, suites and public spaces. The newest addition to the hotel is the Le Méridien Hub, a modern reinterpretation of the traditional hotel lobby.
“As a leading hospitality company, our strategy has always been to restore and modernise our existing hotels; I’m pleased to see the outcome of the comprehensive renovation of Le Méridien Abu Dhabi,” says Khalid Anib, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi National Hotels.
“We’re satisfied with nothing less than excellence throughout our growing hotel portfolio, and I’m grateful to the board of directors of Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) for all their support in making these projects a reality,” he adds.
Offering a nexus between new and old Abu Dhabi, Le Méridien offers guests a European hospitality experience rooted in Arabian culture and tradition.
