Ling Ling, a restaurant concept created by the founders of Hakkasan will open in Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech this autumn.
Drawing inspiration from the Eastern concept Izakaya, whereby food accompanies beverages rather than the other way around, the concept will feature signature elements from Hakkasan.
Reinvented small plates will serve up Hakkasan cuisine in a different format, allowing guests to sample and share a variety of the Cantonese-style dishes.
Cocktails are central to the menu and have been created by the Hakkasan London team.
Meanwhile, Hakkasan resident DJ in London, Pathaan has designed the playlist for Ling Lings across the world.
Designed by Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier, Ling Ling in Marrakech will overlook olive groves and ponds at the centre of the resort.
With an outdoor terrace and lounge, it will be open all year for dinner.
The first Ling Ling opened in Mykonos, Greece last summer.
Founded in 2001, Hakkasan specialises in traditional Cantonese cuisine.
Since the original London offerings at Hanway Place and Mayfair, Hakkasan has expanded internationally and now there are 12 restaurants across North America, Europe, UAE and Asia.
