Asian fast food restaurant, Prax’s, which first opened in 2015 on Jumeirah Beach Road, has expanded to a second location in Barsha Heights.
Behind the concept is Ribbon, a consulting and management services company, which also operates the franchise operations of South African-founded Hawaiian concept, Kauai in Dubai Marina.
Serving Thai and Chinese dishes in oyster pails (Chinese takeout containers), the venue seats 27 diners.
The restaurant offers a set menu or a ‘go freestyle’ option, whereby the diner selects a base (noodles, rice of mixed vegetables), protein (tofu, chicken, beef or prawns), sauces toppings and garnish.
Dishes on the menu include prawn har gao dim sum, papaya salad, wonton soup, chili basil beef, sweet and sour prawn and date and caramel dessert.
The restaurant will also increase its delivery services to double its existing coverage area.
From the Barsha Heights branch, Prax’s will deliver to Dubai Sports City, Discovery Gardens and Jumeirah Village Triangle among other new locations.
The new branch, with brightly coloured interiors is located in the I-Rise Tower in Barsha Heights (formerly Tecom).
Prax’s will be open from 11 am to 11 pm, from Saturday to Wednesday and 11 am to 12 am on Thursday and Friday.
Ribbon is the Strategic Partner for Prax’s having spearheaded the project from inception, including branding, menu development and supply chain setup.
The company is executing a multi-store roll out for the brand.
