Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek has slashed water-heating costs by 78% and its carbon footprint by 22% thanks to thermodynamic solar panels.
Dubai’s first 5-star property has taken another initiative to reduce its fuel consumption by installing the latest technology in renewable water heating – the Thermodynamic solar system.
The thermodynamic solar system uses the heat pump principle with an additional solar panel, generating constant heat to produce hot water at a higher performance.
The new system comprises solar panels to capture energy, a solar block, storage tanks and heat exchangers for the heat energy transfer to the water.
