Rezidor, a member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, will manage luxury private member’s club, Nofa Resort and Club, located just outside of Riyadh.
The existing property, which features 57 luxury villas, will join the group in Q3 2016 and will be operated as a members-only resort.
The resort comprises 57 villas ranging from 170 to 1,600m2, two restaurants, a coffee lounge and a juice bar.
A banquet hall will host large, high profile conferences, conventions, exhibitions, weddings and other types of events accommodating more than 800 people.
Wolfgang M. Neumann, president & CEO of Rezidor, commented: “The Nofa Resort and Club is an iconic and exceptionally exclusive product allowing us to enter the luxury hospitality segment in Saudi Arabia, to further diversify our offer, and to strengthen our position in the Kingdom.
Elie Younes, executive vice president & chief development officer of Rezidor added: “As the market in Saudi Arabia matures, niche offers such as members-only resorts become increasingly popular and attract an influential clientele. We look forward to offering our international standards and services to these guests and to unlocking additional value for them.”
The club is the newest addition to Rezidor’s portfolio in Saudi Arabia, which now features 27 hotels with over 5,200 rooms in operation or under development.
The lodge-like Nofa Resort and Club is four years old and located 84km away from Riyadh within the municipality of Al Nemar.
Business and leisure facilities include meeting rooms, an entertainment centre, an equestrian centre, a golf resort, a palm and fruit orchard, and a safari zone.
Adjacent to the property is the Nofa Safari Park with a collection of wild and desert animals such as the Arabian Oryx.
Accommodation at the resort is restricted to members only. Selected food & drink offers as well as event bookings will also be open to external guests.
