The 14 year partnership between Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and Taj Palace Hotel, Dubai, located at Deira and owned by the Juma Al Majid Group has come to an end, following a mutual agreement.
Taj Palace Hotel, Dubai, which has been run by Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces since 2001, was handed back to the Juma Al Majid Group, on 31st August 2015. The renamed Jood Palace Hotel Dubai will be managed by JOOD Hospitality, a division under Juma Al-Majid Group of Companies.
A statement from the group read: “Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has enjoyed an outstanding relationship and mutually rewarding partnership with the Juma Al Majid Group and expresses its gratitude for the unequivocal trust and unstinting co-operation extended by them during the tenure of operations. During the course of the partnership, the Juma Al Majid Group played an important and strategic role in the success of the hotel. Taj wishes the Juma Al Majid Group the best for their future endeavours.
