Established nearly a century after Colonel John Jacob Astor IV conceived the concept for The St. Regis New York, is The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
Taking after the vision of its founder, the Abu Dhabi resort was crafted eight years ago by the Saadiyat Beach for modern connoisseurs desiring the finest experiences imaginable and offering bespoke luxury from 2011 to the present day.
To commemorate its eighth anniversary of serving countless guests across the property, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi hosted eight days of celebration with offers available at its dining and spa facilities.
“Over the past eight years, we have established this resort as a leader in the hospitality industry, setting new standards of excellence for the competitive Middle Eastern market. The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi has enjoyed the privilege of being the first property to bring many new concepts to Abu Dhabi and the region,” says General Manager Marwan Fadel.
“Not only were we the first St. Regis Resort, but ours is the first Iridium Spa as well to launch in the region. We are home to the first permanent location in the world for the famed Buddha-Bar Beach concept. And, most recently, we opened the doors to the first MAZI to open outside of London and this exclusive venue is the pioneering restaurant in the MENA region to introduce modern Greek cuisine. It’s truly an honor to be at the helm of the resort’s operations at such an exciting time.”
The resort features 376 guestrooms, all with private terraces, offering panoramic views of the sea, golf course, or gardens. Situated within the grounds are Iridium Spa, Sandcastle Club for children, tennis and squash courts, six restaurants and bars, and the 3,500 square-metre St. Regis Athletic Club.
