New B2C booking engine, Tripfez is helping the travel trade sell halal-friendly tours to an untapped global Muslim travel market worth some $142 billion annually.
The new plaform allows the trade to register their Muslim-friendly tours and then manage their allocations, inventory and pricing in a dynamic and user-friendly online environment. Tripfez was officially launched to the global travel trade at last week’s ITB Berlin, the world’s largest travel business event. It will also be showcased at the forthcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM), which will be staged in Dubai from 25-28 April.
Agents selling their halal excursions on Tripfez will be exposed to a global audience of Muslim travellers who spent more than $142 billion on tourism in 2014 – a figure expected to reach more than $233 billion in 2020, or around 25% of total global travel expenditure, according to Thomson Reuters.

“We are providing travel agents with a chance to sell their Muslim-friendly tours and experiences in real Dme to this relatively untapped, but highly lucrative market, which is expected to reach 150 million travellers by 2020.”
