As part of efforts to combat Covid-19, the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has announced the closure of all beaches, parks, cinemas, sports centres and public and private swimming pools across the country from Sunday, March 22.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention announced that restaurants and cafés will only be allowed to operate at 20 per cent capacity and must maintain a distance between customers of at least two-metres.
Venues, however, be able to serve take-away food and carry out home deliveries.
The safety measures will be in place for two weeks and are subject to further evaluation.
