Marmum, a dairy and juice company, signed contracts worth AED 27 million with two of the leading national feed producers in the UAE.
In attendance were Sultan Al Jaberi, managing director of Marmum and Edward Iskandar Hamod, general manager of the National Feed and Flour Production and Marketing Company on September 2, and Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, CEO of the Agthia Group PJSC, the parent company of the animal feed brand Agrivita, on September 4 in Abu Dhabi at the first-ever EuroTier Middle East event held.
“As a local, home-grown brand we are committed to creating high volumes of good quality fresh milk and other milk products, to contribute to the demands of the nation. The population is increasing and we’re an environmentally conscious brand that recognises the need for sustainable farming to meet the continuity of food supplies at a national level. Our large scale investments in acquiring livestock feed from national producers is an extended validation of this commitment,” says Al Jaberi.

This year, the first-ever edition of the EuroTier Middle East was organised under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority with Marmum partnering as the host sponsor for the event.
