At Gulfood 2026, we spoke with Stéphane Paulmyer, Export Area Manager at Fromagerie Milleret, on the brand’s expansion plans for the Middle East.
Founded more than 100 years ago, Fromagerie Milleret remains an independent, family-run dairy, with the majority of its business rooted in France and a growing focus on export markets. Paulmyer shared that the brand already has a presence across regional retailers, offering formats ranging from individual portions to large-format Brie.
At Gulfood, the team highlighted strong interest from markets including Saudi Arabia and Oman, alongside continued conversations with both existing and new partners. Key products showcased included Milleret’s truffle Brie, its best-selling export line, as well as portioned cheeses suited to both retail and foodservice, including airline catering. With several products already listed in the UAE, the brand sees the region as a significant growth opportunity moving forward.
