Quince, an avant-garde Mediterranean restaurant, is poised to redefine the boundaries of aesthetic dining in Dubai. Ushering in a new era of gastronomic experiences, this homegrown gem emerges as a passion project by father-son duo, Amer Al Tamimi & Abdulla Al Tamimi, both hailing from a legacy of art and design concepts in the UAE. Nestled in the heart of Umm Suqeim, Quince is all set to revamp the culinary landscape by blurring the boundaries between food and art.
Inspiration
With a vision to create a fully immersive experience, Quince stands as a testament to the creativity of its founders. This destination is an opulent journey through a world of flavours and artistry rooted in 30 years of family legacy in interior design. Translating their love for aesthetics into a premium dining destination, the homegrown gem has been introduced as an F&B extension of their design concepts, DecoArt and D&D Home. The restaurant is leading its mission of making luxury accessible with its unique take on offering any article found in the restaurant, from its unique décor to the modern pieces of furniture, available for retail.

Artfully Crafted Menu
Quince promises a dining experience where guests can indulge in dishes that feature a twist on Mediterranean classics. The culinary team has crafted a menu that pays homage to the rich traditions of the Mediterranean, while embracing modern innovation. The menu features a range of appetizers including the house-favourite Smoked Beetroot and the Salmon Croquette amongst others. Highlights of the main course include the Seafood Risotto, the succulent Beef Short-Rib, and the Smoked Beef Pancetta Pizza, amongst a comprehensive range of options, crafted to be appreciated by Dubai’s diverse foodie community. For beverages, diners can opt for a range of options including the zesty Fuzu Ma Yuzu, the Malamadre, New Black, the Dubai Martini, and more to offer a distinct touch of liquid elegance. To regularly offer a fresh experience, the menu at Quince will be changed every season, keeping its creations in harmony with the ever-evolving culinary landscape. A fully independent vegan menu is also in the works to cater to all plant-based patrons who walk in through the doors. In the interim, the restaurant will be accommodating varied dietary preferences upon request, ensuring all guests can relish the flavours of Quince.

Every element across the space has been thoughtfully designed to immerse over 120 patrons in an atmosphere of timeless elegance. Offering that experience through its spacious layout, the restaurant spans a total of 9,260 sq ft and boasts an indoor seating area, an open kitchen as well as an intimate dining section called The Garden. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, the kitchen stands as a distinct highlight offering a glimpse into the artistry at Quince, across the space and on the plate.
The Garden
An intimate indoor space spanning an expansive 1,410 square feet, The Garden offers an immersive experience complementing the main dining arrangement. It is meticulously designed to accommodate up to 40 guests, boasting walls adorned with blooming floral décor and beckons with lounge-like sofas for a relaxed atmosphere. With its tranquil ambience, The Garden has been designed as a sanctuary for moments of celebration, intimate gatherings, and memorable events.
The Bakehouse
Quince is home to an in-house bakehouse that aims to redefine traditional bakes. Brimming with artisanal desserts, freshly baked tarts, pastries, and an array of bread selections, spanning from sourdough to focaccia, the bakery prioritizes seasonal and cared-for produce in every offering. Extending its gourmet range to anyone who walks through its doors, Quince is also a perfect destination for those seeking a bite on the move, wanting to elevate their day with the freshest bakes of the bakehouse. As an integral aspect of the Quince experience, it is the bakehouse that contributes to the aroma of freshly baked items wafting through the restaurant, and setting the stage for a unique in-venue dining experience, through Breakfast service starting at 8 AM and going all the way to the last dinner service at 11 PM.
Aesthetics
Quince’s charm extends beyond its layout and décor to exquisite details adorning the walls. The founding family’s affinity for natural wood, nurtured over three decades in the wood manufacturing industry, is woven throughout the space elevated with exquisite intricacies of French fabric, sumptuous velvets, and ornate patterns that adorn the seating and fabric-clad columns at Quince. The artful arrangement of chandeliers also orchestrates a seamless interplay of design elements, creating a visual symphony from floor to ceiling. Diners walking into the restaurant will be able to discover statement objects selected from the family’s art acquisitions and become a part of the visual, storytelling experience at Quince. Complementing this experience is the colour palette of the décor, featuring shades of green, yellow, and gold, as inspired by the Mediterranean aesthetic of warm vibrancy.
