Abu Dhabi’s vibrant dining scene is set to be taken to another level this autumn with the arrival of KARAZ, a Levantine-inspired restaurant that aims to put a modern spin on traditional homemade recipes. With culinary influences from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, KARAZ aims to seamlessly blend the food, culture, traditions, and heritage from these realms into a contemporary dining experience like no other.
KARAZ, which translates to ‘Cherries’ in English, represents much more than just a delicious summer fruit. Within the Levant region, the cherry is often seen as a symbol of joy, love, and happiness and is also the focal point of the design aesthetic of the restaurant. The fusion of traditional and modern design elements creates a captivating ambiance that reflects the rich heritage of the region. Traditional Levantine and Arabic design elements such as intricate arabesque patterns, vibrant cherry, blue and white colours, and poetic Arabic typography are incorporated throughout the space, adding a sense of authenticity and cultural charm.
Wanting to redefine the traditional dining experience, KARAZ, located at the Yas Mall Abu Dhabi, aims to wow guests with an opulent sense of theatre and live entertainment as they indulge in authentic Levantine cuisine, remastered to provide an unforgettable experience filled with joy, laughter, and the best memories, together with family and friends alike.
