Vassil will now be in charge of coordinating all the F&B outlets at the property, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality for ultimate guest satisfaction. With his extensive knowledge and experience in the restaurant and hotel industry, Vassil is poised to lead the F&B department of this prominent hotel to new heights of excellence.
Vassil is a highly skilled hospitality professional known for his leadership abilities, management expertise, and operational acumen. His skill set encompasses various areas, including finance, payroll, accounting, and operations. He possesses a proven ability to apply visionary thinking, creative ideas, and innovative solutions to address business challenges successfully. A results-oriented individual, his leadership style fosters team spirit, inspires trust, and builds confidence across all business functions and levels.
Having worked in diverse hospitality establishments in Malta, Scotland, and now Dubai Vassil brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to this role, he served as the F&B Manager at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort from December 2020 to December 2022, where he led the F&B Department and oversaw the financial and quality performance of 11 F&B outlets and banqueting facilities accommodating up to 2000 guests. Vassil’s impressive career in the hospitality industry also includes positions at several renowned hotels in Dubai such as Novotel & Ibis, Dubai Deira City Centre, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek, Long’s Bar, Towers Rotana Hotel, and Q43, Media One Hotel.
As the F&B Manager at Grand Millennium Dubai, Vassil aims to instil a culture of collaboration from the top down. He wants all the outlets to be on the same page and work towards the common goal of creating a community hub that is warm, welcoming, and unpretentious. He will be a fresh pair of eyes to revaluate the complete department, bringing innovation and out of the box thinking in terms of promotions, concepts, and offerings.
With its prime location in Dubai, in Vassil’s mind, the hotel is perfectly positioned to becoming a thriving neighbourhood hangout spot that is fun and carefree. Vassil is determined to bring a casual environment to the hotel where all the staff are approachable, humble, and above all, offer guests an impeccable level of service.
