JA Resorts & Hotels recently announced the appointment of Australian national, Tim Quarm as cluster general manager and promotion of Emirati, Murad Ahmed to cluster executive assistant manager, Rooms.
Tim Quarm will oversee the full management of both JA Oasis Beach Tower and JA Ocean View Hotel, while Murad Ahmed will oversee the Rooms division across the two thriving properties, located along The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai, as well as looking after Operations at JA Oasis Beach Tower.
Tim Quarm joins JA Resorts & Hotels to impart 35 years’ experience, across a portfolio of some of the world’s leading hotel brands including Accor, Prince, Hyatt, Starwood, Hilton, and ANA. With a solid, international background working across a diverse range of brand products, Quarm is a hands-on general manager and has demonstrated high level operational skills, problem-solving abilities, as well as a proven track record to enhance revenue. Quarm most recently served as general manager at the 5-star Novotel Danang Premier Han River Vietnam and under his management, the property notably increased guest satisfaction. Quarm is also an honorary member of Les Clefs d’or and was awarded a Diploma D’honneur in 2014 for outstanding services and contribution to society.
Along with the appointment of Tim Quarm, JA Resorts & Hotels also announced the promotion of Murad Ahmed, as cluster executive assistant manager, rooms for the two properties along Jumeirah Beach Residence. Raised in Ras al Khaimah, Ahmed has been a loyal associate at JA Resorts & Hotels since 2005, when he was employed as revenue sales agent at the JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, now re-named JA The Resort. Since then, his career has flourished, and he has gone from success to success, cementing himself as an invaluable member of the JA Resorts & Hotels team.
Both Tim Quarm and Murad Ahmed can be found strolling the short 5-minute walk along JBR between the two award-winning properties several times a day.
