LPM Restaurant & Bar, the home of celebrated French Mediterranean cuisine, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas Budzynski as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Nicolas, who previously served as the Global Operations Director of LPM Restaurant & Bar, will now lead the company’s strategic direction and oversee operations on a global level.
With a distinguished career in the hospitality industry spanning nearly two decades, Nicolas is widely recognised for his dynamic leadership style, his drive to deliver unique guest experiences, and expertise in project and change management. Since joining LPM Restaurant & Bar in March 2019, Nicolas has played a pivotal role in driving the brand’s growth and success, while considerably improving the financial performance of an already successful business.
Under Nicolas’ leadership as Global Operations Director, LPM Restaurant & Bar has achieved significant milestones, including the opening of three new locations in Riyadh, Limassol, and Doha, in addition to the successful renovation of two flagship restaurants in both London and Dubai. Nicolas also led the efforts to put LPM Restaurant & Bar Middle East on the map, resulting in the company being officially recognised in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Middle East and Africa debut list in 2022, with Dubai and Riyadh ranking in 8th and 42nd place respectively.
Nicolas has been instrumental in spearheading the launch of LPM Restaurant & Bar’s signature cocktail menu, Jean Cocteau, which helped position the brand as one of the top 10 restaurant bars in the world in the Tales of the Cocktail 2022. He has also been focused on the brand’s development, keeping it timeless yet relevant in a constantly evolving industry, and enhancing the company’s work culture to establish low employee turnover. This has been achieved through Nicolas’ significant role in the nurturing and growth of internal talent, while sourcing and developing young professionals joining the industry – both to prepare the future leaders of the company and the industry as a whole. His approach is evident through individual development plans, global staff transfers, improved benefits and bonuses, and the instigation of a 4-day work week across some of the LPM locations.
Commenting on his appointment as CEO, Nicolas said, “I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at LPM Restaurant & Bar, and extremely grateful to the Founders and Ownership in giving me trust and offering me this opportunity. I am equally grateful for the support and efforts given by each and every team member at LPM, without whom the company wouldn’t be where it is today. It is an exciting time for the company as we continue to grow and expand our global presence. I am committed to building on our success and driving the brand forward, while maintaining our focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the well-being and development of our team.”
As LPM Restaurant & Bar’s CEO, Nicolas will continue to prioritise the brand’s vision and mission, drive innovation, and ensure top guest experiences across all locations. His leadership and direction are expected to further strengthen the brand’s position as a global leader in the hospitality industry.
