Kempinski Hotel Mall Of The Emirates has promoted Slim Zaiane to the position of general manager, moving on from his previous position of hotel manager.
Zaiane has 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality in Europe, working with international chains including Hilton and Sofitel. |In his previous role as hotel manager Zaiane oversaw a $100 million renovation.

He started his his career as the front office manager at Red Carnations Hotels in London, before moving to Hilton London Heathrow to take up the position of director of front office for the hotel. Since then, his career has seen him working across several key European cities.
He stayed with the Hilton group until 2013, where he worked as the rooms division director revenue manager at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead and then as director of F&B at Hilton London Metropole.
Then in February 2013, Zaiane moved to Dubai to work at Al Bustan Rotana Dubai as the property’s executive manager, reporting to the area general manager.
Zaiane graduated with a BA honours degree in Hotel Management from Glion Hotel School in Switzerland and completed his Masters at Oxford Brookes University. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
