Professional kitchen systems manufacturer Angelo Po has teamed up with the Marmon Group in a deal they say will create major opportunities for the catering and hospitality sectors across the Middle East.
“The Angelo Po and Marmon businesses are extremely complementary in terms of both geographical coverage and offering,” said Adriano Fabris, Angelo Po sales and marketing manager.
“The acquisition therefore creates major technological, industrial and commercial synergies, which will support swift, large-scale expansion at the global level.”
To mark the occasion a hospitality networking event is being held by Catering News Middle East at the Royal Meridian, Dubai, on Monday, January 16, at 8pm.
“We are planning to further reinforce our presence abroad, in areas such as the United Arab Emirates, which in the coming years are going to be fulcrum of major events, first and foremost Expo 2020, themed around sustainable development,” said Fabris, adding that he is relishing the opportunity to meet and greet key figures from the catering world in the Middle East on Monday.
“We have a specific in-house team with decades of experience, capable of analyzing needs and quickly offering even highly customized solutions, delivering the technical and regulatory backup so vital to contractors and consultants, that’s the target for our event!
“We’d like to present our new company asset, the Icon 9000 cooking line and our new sales organization network, including our internal department dedicated to supporting contractors and consultant activities.
“We are sure that each consultant could enjoy the quality and the professionalism of our products and our staff in a face-to-face occasion,” he added.
“An ergonomic kitchen layout is an even more fundamental aspect: our equipment and our designer aim to facilitate as much as possible the chef and his brigade.”
Fabris said the Icon 9000 line is designed for those who want to put comfort and functionality in the kitchen first.
“It is a unique system that makes the best use of the space and guarantees the chef’s comfort,” he said.
“First of all, with ICON 9000, the vertical space is finally exploited: above the top, a complete system of equipped columns offers electricity and water points, LED lights, shelves, trays, making easier the preparation and finishing operations.
“Moreover, under the top, the kitchen is equipped with closed or open, neutral, heated and refrigerated modules.
“An important innovation is CHEF COMFORT PRO, a patented solution to offer the chef with more healthy and fresh air thanks, reducing the heat coming from the top for the likes of grills, fry-top and induction elements.”
Angelo Po isn’t resting on its laurels though and has further plans for the year ahead.
“Sustainability has always been a guiding principle for Angelo Po, helping it to develop products that stand out on the market for their strong focus on existing and upcoming environmental regulations, with the aim of optimising consumption and energy saving,” he said.
“So products provide ever-increasing sustainability – but that is not all. The company is currently concentrating on user-friendly, intuitive appliances able to respond to users’ real needs.
“Hence the drive to create new food-processing concepts, in association with the fast-growing international chains, also prioritising food cost and food safety.”
