French restaurant La Môme Dubai has opened on the 49th floor of Nassima Royal Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.
A taste of 1950s and 60s vintage France in Dubai, the 85-seat venue is open every day for lunch from 12pm-3pm and for dinner from 7.30pm- 12am.
Nicolas Pierre, part of the team behind La Môme Dubai, said: “We are thrilled to open our doors. With a year in the making, La Môme Dubai is set to be one of the coolest dining destinations in the city. We have an amazing executive chef on board and a very fitting team that create the perfect dining experience.”
The culinary team is headed up by executive chef Johann Dudemaine.
With a focus on seasonal, fresh ingredients, entrées include fois gras on brioche and French escargot dressed with parsley butter, while full roasted pigeon, beef bourguignon and ‘The original steak tartar’ are some of the mains on offer. Desserts include Toblerone chocolate mousse and crème brûlée.
Emeric Fort, a partner in La Môme Dubai said: “La Môme Dubai sets the tone for dining in the city. We want guests to feel at home in the bar and restaurant and just experience the simple pleasures of going out; great food; great beverages in a sociable and entertaining atmosphere. ’La joie de vivre’, which captured the mindset and spirit of post Second World War in France is what we are re-creating.”
The name of La Môme Dubai is inspired by the nickname of French singer Edith Piaf.
