The beach-side bar and grill at Le Meridien Al Aqah will undergo extensive refurbishments this summer.
After 10 years in operation, the new look of Fujairah’s popular surf and turf restaurant will be unveiled in September 2018.
Maintaining its relaxed ambiance the new wave of upgrades at Gonu Bar and Grill will focus on enhancing guest experiences. The new restaurant design will include extensive improvements in and around the outlet, which includes extending the pergola by 100 square metres and upgrading the pathway leading to the restaurant.
Within the interiors, the current capacity to seat 48 guests will be extended to seat 80. The open bar will be relocated, allowing a better service facility along with an upgrade of decorative LED lighting, giving it a face-lift. The new design also includes installation of portable cooling systems around the bar and extending the kitchen area with installation of new equipment.

“For almost a decade, Gonu Bar & Grill has managed to impress diners with its innovative gastronomy and mesmerizing views of the ocean and golden beach. To elevate overall guest experiences, the restaurant will undergo renovation for the next 3 months and will relaunch in September with a fresh appeal while retaining the essence of Fujairah’s favourite beachside restaurant.”
