Northern Ireland will exhibit its food and beverage products at SIAL Middle East, taking place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on 5 – 7 December.
With 2016 marking the Northern Ireland Year of Food and Drink, this year suppliers are showcasing halal-certified beef and lamb products, organic salmon, ‘free-from’ sweet treats, soft drinks, teas, coffees and more.
Karl Devlin, head of business development, Middle East Food Division, Invest Northern Ireland commented: “I’m proud that so many Northern Ireland food and drink companies are active in the Middle East market.
“It’s great to see more and more international consumers discovering the pure, natural quality we have to offer. This year alone our dairy exports to the UAE have increased by £500,000.”
New Found Joy will showcase gluten-free caramel squares, while Heavenly Organic Superfoods are promoting healthy snacks and meals for babies and toddlers.
Meanwhile, Kettyle Dry Aged Burgers are now available in the region, and the Kettyle Irish Foods team will be on hand to explain their halal-certified meat products.
Mash Direct, Water Within, Linwoods Health Foods, Freeist, Forest Feast, Rule of Crumb, Greenfields, and Pritchitts will also exhibit at the Northern Ireland stand.
