Bull & Roo’s Thai street food concept, Uncle Jheff, will take over the courtyard of Brunswick Sports Club, Mall of the Emirates for one month.
The concept, first presented at footwear, fashion and lifestyle outlet, Sole DXB, is aimed at bringing the vibrancy of traditional Thai flavours to life.
Menu items include green mango salad topped with green apple, pineapple, with a sticky tamarind chili dressing; chicken massamun curry with cashews and cinnamon sticks and sweet garlic short ribs infused with kaffir, chili and charred lime served with a side of toasted rice.
Each evening, Uncle Jheff will host different DJs, with deep house from Amy Wells on Tuesdays, DJ Cherelle Chambers playing Neo Soul on Wednesdays, Kev Fresh and Ben Echo with Hip Hop on Thursdays and DJ Lobito on Fridays.
Sundays and Mondays are for budding DJs to show off their skills at ‘Battle of the Beats’.
Uncle Jheff will launch as a pop-up at Brunswick Sports Club on 14 April for one month.
Bull & Roo, founded in 2013, is the hospitality and investments company behind Dubai’s Tom&Serg, The Sum of Us, Common Grounds, Brunswick Sports Club and Muchachas Mexican Cantina.
